Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey’s Reelection
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All celebrates Governor Maura Healey’s reelection as Massachusetts governor.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Maura Healey has taken on anti-abortion extremists and delivered some of the strongest protections for reproductive freedom in the country—and tonight, Massachusetts voters chose to keep that fight going. As Donald Trump and his allies continue to attack abortion access, we know Governor Healey will not back down.”
Gov. Healey has signed expansive legislation strengthening abortion protections and shielding patients and providers from legal threats targeting care that is legal in Massachusetts. She has also taken executive action to protect access to emergency abortion care and medication abortion, building on her record of defending reproductive freedom.
