Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates Susie Lee’s Reelection Victory in NV-03
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All-endorsed candidate Susie Lee won her reelection bid to continue representing Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District in the U.S. House.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Susie Lee knows reproductive health care is personal—access to IVF made her family possible, and she has used her vote in Congress to protect that opportunity for others. Our organizers mobilized voters across Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District because this seat is essential to a new House majority that can stop national attacks on abortion access, and Nevadans delivered a decisive victory.”
In September, Reproductive Freedom for All launched a six-figure investment in direct voter contact in this district as part of My Body. My Ballot., the organization’s $23.5 million nationwide midterm campaign and largest-ever midterm electoral program. Reproductive Freedom for All also mobilized its more than 57,000 members in the state to help secure this victory.
Lee has represented Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District since 2019 and consistently voted to protect reproductive health care. She voted for the Women’s Health Protection Act to codify federal protections for abortion access and co-sponsored legislation establishing a federal right to IVF and other reproductive care. Lee has spoken openly about the personal stakes of that work: her two children were conceived through IVF.
Lee’s victory came as Nevadans approved Question 6 for the second time, cementing the right to abortion in the state constitution.
