Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Miracle Rankin and Jen Jordan in Georgia Supreme Court Race
Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its endorsement of Miracle Rankin and Jen Jordan for the Georgia Supreme Court.
Both of these candidates have long records of fighting for Georgians’ fundamental rights as prominent attorneys. As a State Senator, Jen Jordan fought back against the passage of Georgia’s near-total abortion ban, calling it “a national stunt to try to put pressure on the Supreme Court to take these cases to overturn Roe.” Miracle Rankin has built her career on protecting Georgians’ civil liberties and equal justice under the law.
The Georgia Supreme Court has repeatedly intervened to keep the state’s extreme abortion ban in effect. Electing fair-minded reproductive freedom champions to these seats is a way to fight back against the anti-abortion extremists and ensure Georgians can access the care they need.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Miracle Rankin and Jen Jordan are exactly the leaders Georgians need in this moment. As Trump-aligned extremists reshape the federal judiciary, state supreme courts have become the final line of defense against the erosion of our rights. In Georgia, the current court has acted as a rubber stamp for an extreme abortion ban, prioritizing a radical right-wing agenda over the lives of real people. Rankin and Jordan offer a clear alternative as principled, fair-minded jurists committed to ensuring the court reflects the values, freedoms, and dignity of the people it is meant to protect.”
Jen Jordan released the following statement:
“As privacy, choice, and reproductive freedom come under attack by politicians in Washington and here at home, Georgia’s Supreme Court must be the last line of defense for Georgians’ fundamental rights. Reproductive Freedom for All is doing critical work to help elect justices committed to protecting our individual liberties, and I’m grateful for their support as we head towards the finish line on May 19.”
Miracle Rankin released the following statement:

I’m grateful for the support of those who value an independent judiciary and a justice system that treats every person with dignity and respect.”
Reproductive Freedom for All recently endorsed Senator Jon Ossoff in his reelection bid. The organization also endorsed Judge Chris Taylor ahead of her successful bid for a seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
