Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Slate of Proven Reproductive Freedom Champions for Reelection to the Nevada Legislature

Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All Nevada announced its first slate of endorsements for key seats in the Nevada Legislature ahead of next week’s primary election. Reelecting these 11 proven champions will be critical to maintaining a reproductive freedom majority in the Nevada Assembly and Senate, and will ensure Nevadans have leaders they can trust to protect their fundamental rights.

Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse the following candidates for reelection to the Nevada Legislature:

  • Assemblymember Jovan Jackson (AD-06)
  • Assemblymember Venise Karris (AD-10)
  • Assemblymember Howard Watts (AD-15)
  • Assemblymember Cecelia González (AD-16)
  • Assemblymember Linda Hunt (AD-17)
  • Assemblymember Venicia Considine (AD-18)
  • Assemblymember David Orentlicher (AD-20)
  • Assemblymember Hanadi Nadeem (AD-34)
  • Assemblymember Tracy Brown May (AD-42)

Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Nevada Campaigns Denise Lopez released the following statement:

“These legislators have proven that they have what it takes to defend Nevadans’ fundamental rights and freedoms. They have stood up to Governor Lombardo and Republican lawmakers who are pushing an agenda that is restricting access to reproductive healthcare and opening the door to even more attacks. Ensuring these champions advance to the general election is critical, and we’re proud to fight alongside them heading into primary elections and beyond.”

Reproductive Freedom for All recently endorsed Nevada Attorney General Aaron Ford for governor, Assemblymember Sandra Jauregui for lieutenant governor, and Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro for attorney general.

In 2026, Nevada voters will also have the opportunity to vote to constitutionally protect access to abortion through a ballot measure. During the 2024 election, Question 6 passed with overwhelming support from Nevadans.
