Reproductive Freedom for All Launches $100,000 Ad Buy Targeting Threats to Planned Parenthood and Health Care Access
Washington, DC — Reproductive Freedom for All announced a new $100,000 ad buy launching in California, Pennsylvania, and Arizona to call out extremist politicians for threatening access to affordable health care and putting Planned Parenthood, one of the largest providers of care for people on Medicaid, at risk. The ad highlights how these politicians’ upcoming votes could shut down health centers that provide essential care like cancer screenings, birth control, and more.
Medicaid funds 75% of publicly funded family planning services, which include access to STI testing, cancer screenings, and birth control. Almost two-thirds of the 70 million people enrolled in Medicaid are adult women ages 19-44.
Medicaid also covers 40% of all births in the US, and the program plays a critical role in preventing maternal death.
