Reproductive Freedom for All Launches $250,000 Mail Program Ahead of Midterms Reminding Maine Voters Susan Collins Helped Overturn Roe

Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All and Senate Majority PAC launched a $250,000 direct-mail ad campaign aimed at defeating Senator Susan Collins this November. The ad reminds Mainers that Collins lied to them in 2018 and cast the deciding vote to confirm Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court, creating the MAGA majority that overturned Roe. Since then, she has supported over 100 Trump-appointed judges, and said she doesn’t regret voting for Kavanaugh and would confirm him again—even as abortion bans endanger lives and deny patients care across the country.

The ads will reach more than 100,000 households across Maine, targeting women who support reproductive freedom. This November, Collins will face Maine voters for the first time since Roe was overturned, finally giving them the opportunity to hold her accountable for her record.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Susan Collins’ lack of leadership and broken promises on reproductive freedom are a glaring vulnerability in this race. She promised to protect her constituents’ fundamental freedoms, and instead helped Donald Trump take them away. Mainers care deeply about abortion, contraception, IVF, and the full spectrum of reproductive freedom. Those are the voters who will decide this race, and we are making sure they know exactly what is at stake.”

The Maine direct-mail program, part of the organization’s $23.5 million My Body. My Ballot. Campaign, will put Susan Collins’ anti-abortion record front and center for voters across the state. Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju was recently on the ground in Maine to endorse Troy Jackson, where she joined more than 100 supporters at the launch of the ‘Women for Troy’ coalition.
