Reproductive Freedom for All Launches $5 Million Electoral Program to Mobilize Voters and Protect Reproductive Freedom in 2025 Elections
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced the launch of the “Your Vote, Your Freedom” campaign, a $5 million 2025 electoral program to turn out voters, hold anti-abortion extremists accountable, and defend against attacks on reproductive freedom in key states. The nationwide effort will focus on important battlegrounds—Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey—where reproductive freedom and health care access hang in the balance, and California, where voters are fighting for democracy.
This program is investing in innovative digital and field tactics, grassroots organizing, and paid media to reach and mobilize voters and ensure they understand what is at stake. Across the country, our 4 million members are already making calls, knocking doors, and talking to their neighbors to make reproductive freedom a defining issue of these elections and lay a strong foundation for the 2026 midterms.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Trump and his allies are attacking our rights from every direction, but voters aren’t backing down and neither are we. We’re investing $5 million to fight back and turn out voters who know that access to abortion and health care is on the line in battleground states across the country. We’ve seen it before: When Americans vote, abortion wins. The majority of Americans, no matter their political party, support access to abortion.”
Protecting Freedom State by State
- Virginia: We are helping to elect reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot. Our 112,000 members in Virginia are fired up and ready to elect Abigail Spanberger in the state’s critical gubernatorial race and protect abortion access in the last Southern state without an abortion ban—paving the way toward a 2026 state constitutional amendment protecting reproductive rights.
- Pennsylvania: With 178,000 members statewide, we are mobilizing a powerful grassroots network through calls, texts, and volunteer-led events to protect Pennsylvania’s reproductive freedom champions and counter extremist efforts to restrict abortion access. We have endorsed three state supreme court justices who are up for retention. In this era of non-stop attacks on our freedoms, the courts are some of our strongest defenders.
- New Jersey: We are launching an independent expenditure program featuring paid media, phones, and text messages to support leaders defending reproductive rights and health care access.
- California: Our more than 400,000 members in California are working in lock-step with the Prop 50 campaign to educate and drive voters to the polls through phone banks, text banks, canvassing, and digital outreach. In a state with historically strong protections, our members are ready to vote yes on Prop 50 because the fight for reproductive freedom is intertwined with the fight for democracy.
Building Power Through Organizing and Innovation
Reproductive Freedom for All’s 2025 electoral program builds on record-breaking grassroots engagement this year:
- Over 800 events and trainings held nationwide this year, including voter education on redistricting, the intersection of reproductive freedom and democracy, and ballot initiatives.
- 180,000 calls and 60,000 texts made to voters in key 2025 electoral states.
- 820+ volunteers trained through innovative virtual and in-person programs, preparing them to lead conversations in their own communities.
