Equip yourself with the facts. Here you’ll find explainers, deep dives, and other resources on reproductive freedom.
Abortion is a common part of reproductive health care. Yet politicians intentionally spread disinformation to stigmatize it.
Our electoral efforts connect voters with opportunities to make tangible change to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
We elect reproductive freedom champions from statehouses to the White House and protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures.
Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.
Project 2025 is no longer just a “plan,” it’s a checklist of extreme policies being implemented at an alarming pace.
Mobilize your community. Hold lawmakers accountable. Organize for reproductive freedom!

Reproductive Freedom for All: Mehmet Oz’s Confirmation Is ‘Dangerous’
Washington, DC — Today, celebrity personality Mehmet Oz was confirmed by the U.S. Senate by a 53/45 vote as Trump’s Administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). His extreme anti-abortion ideology could lead to further restrictions on abortion and contraception. Oz has a record of hostility towards abortion, praising the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade, saying during his failed run for U.S. Senate that he “looked forward to supporting” anti-abortion policy and that abortion care should be between “a woman, her doctors, and her local political leaders.” He believes in “personhood” ideology and has also said that he believes abortion is “murder.”
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Dr. Oz’s confirmation is another huge step forward in the Trump Administration’s dangerous and deadly plan to slash Medicaid funding for families that are already struggling to make ends meet. We fully expect Dr. Oz to make lifesaving health care harder to access and endanger the lives of more than 160 million Americans. When that happens, we will make sure voters know that Senate Republicans and Donald Trump are to blame.”
CMS is one of the largest federal agencies that administers vital health care programs for more than 160 million Americans. The administrator is key in determining whether state Medicaid programs include and expand coverage for family planning services for people with no or low incomes who would otherwise not have coverage. They also handle emergency abortion care complaints and conduct investigations relating to the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act (EMTALA).
