Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju Joins Garlin Gilchrist and Eli Savit For GOTV Event Ahead of Michigan Primary
Yesterday, Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju joined attorney general candidate Eli Savit and secretary of state candidate Garlin Gilchrist at a Get Out the Vote event ahead of Michigan’s August 4th primary election.
Michigan voters made history in 2022 by enshrining the right to abortion access in their state constitution, but as Mini Timmaraju reminded attendees, that victory—and Michigan’s role as a haven for abortion care—has also made the state a target:
“Because you are a refuge, you are also a target of federal attacks. Michiganders deserve state leaders who will build on their state’s progress—and that’s why we’re here today to support Garlin and Eli.”

Michigan will once again be one of the country’s most closely watched battlegrounds in 2026, with elections for governor, attorney general, secretary of state, U.S. Senate and all 13 U.S. House seats on the ballot. Reproductive Freedom for All has endorsed Jocelyn Benson for governor and Sean McCann for Michigan’s 4th Congressional District in their primary races.
Powered by more than 157,000 members across the state, Reproductive Freedom for All Michigan is mobilizing voters to elect reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot. The state is one of Reproductive Freedom for All’s priorities in its My Body. My Ballot. campaign—a $23.5 million investment and the largest midterm program in the organization’s history. The campaign is putting staff and organizers on the ground earlier, and in more places to reach, persuade, and mobilize voters ahead of November’s elections.
