Reproductive Freedom for All Releases Statement on Sen. Slotkin’s Rebuttal of Trump’s Lies

Washington, DC — Tonight, U.S. Senator Elissa Slotkin (D-MI) gave the Democratic rebuttal to President Trump’s joint address to Congress.

Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:

“Sen. Slotkin’s rebuttal was a clear contrast between the disastrous first months of the increasingly dangerous Trump administration and the values and policies Democrats are fighting for. And we agree with her that our Democracy is worth saving and engaged citizens will be the ones to do it. So we will continue to do everything in our power to block Trump’s attacks on our rights and freedoms and will continue to fight alongside Sen. Slotkin and Congressional Democrats to do it.”
