Equip yourself with the facts. Here you’ll find explainers, deep dives, and other resources on reproductive freedom.
Abortion is a common part of reproductive health care. Yet politicians intentionally spread disinformation to stigmatize it.
Our electoral efforts connect voters with opportunities to make tangible change to help build a future where everyone is free to make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and families.
We elect reproductive freedom champions from statehouses to the White House and protect and expand abortion rights and access through ballot measures.
Under a second Trump presidency, attacks on reproductive freedom have been relentless. But we’re tracking and fighting back against this extremist anti-abortion agenda.
Project 2025 is no longer just a “plan,” it’s a checklist of extreme policies being implemented at an alarming pace.
Mobilize your community. Hold lawmakers accountable. Organize for reproductive freedom!

Reproductive Freedom for All Responds as Texas House Considers Abortion Ban to Punish Medication Abortion Providers
Austin, TX — Today, anti-abortion extremist Rep. Jeff Leach brought HB 7 to the floor of the Texas House, which would allow anyone to sue a manufacturer, distributor, or provider of medication abortion and receive a minimum of $100,000 in damages.
The bill proposes a two-pronged enforcement system—by encouraging relatives of patients who receive abortion pills to bring lawsuits against manufacturers, distributors, and providers to collect the reward, and also by encouraging third-party plaintiffs to bring lawsuits against manufacturers, distributors, and providers. The second approach could directly enrich anti-abortion extremist groups and fake health centers by allowing the plaintiff to keep part of the reward and donate the rest to a nonprofit of their choice.
Reproductive Freedom for All, President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Once again, Texas Republicans are leading the way in inflicting cruelty and harm on their constituents. This bill will set a very dangerous precedent, and Texans aren’t the only ones who will suffer. We need to sound the alarm and fight back against these bans that reward people for turning against their neighbors for financial gain.”
This is yet another example of GOP extremists mounting increasingly aggressive attacks against medication abortion to push abortion care out of reach completely—even in blue states.
HB 7 is the most recent ban on abortion care in Texas, and if this bill passes, it could have sweeping implications for other states. Texas has long been a testing ground for some of the most extreme anti-abortion legislation in the country—as seen with SB 8, Texas’ 6-week abortion ban that sparked a long line of copycat bills in other states.
