Reproductive Freedom For All Responds to President Trump and Republican Leadership Speaking at March for Life
Washington, DC — Tomorrow, President Trump and Vice President Vance will join House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Majority Leader John Thune in addressing an extreme fringe “March for Life” anti-abortion rally. Their appearances come after Reproductive Freedom for All exit polling found voters will be less likely to support the GOP in future elections if they take steps to ban or restrict abortion.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“President Trump, Vice President Vance, Speaker Johnson, and Senate Majority Leader Thune wouldn’t be addressing this fringe, extremist event if they didn’t intend to enact its anti-abortion agenda—including ending abortion access nationwide. The American people voted to protect reproductive freedom, and the GOP’s embrace of these anti-abortion extremists is proof positive that they couldn’t care less. Americans deserve better, and make no mistake, we will make sure Trump and Congressional Republicans remember this at the ballot box.”
