Reproductive Freedom for All Responds to Supreme Court Decision in Kennedy v. Braidwood
Washington, DC — Today, the Supreme Court upheld the structure of the Preventive Services Task Force, the entity that is a vital piece of the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) requirement for insurance companies to cover preventive health care services like wellness visits, PrEP, HIV testing, cancer screenings, and more.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement in response:
“Since the ACA was adopted, the Preventive Services Task Force has provided crucial recommendations that have allowed Americans to get the care they need. The truth is conservatives won’t stop until they’ve gutted the ACA – while preventive care is safe for now, extremists like Trump and Kennedy cannot be trusted to protect access to health care.”
