The majority of Americans (8 in 10!) support the legal right to abortion. Every single time abortion rights have been on the ballot, in red states and blue states alike, abortion has won.
Republican candidates across the country know that their extreme anti-abortion position is deeply unpopular with voters. That’s why they’re lying and trying to cover up their previous anti-abortion records.
Everyone—from Donald Trump and JD Vance to House, Senate, and gubernatorial candidates—are trying to change their tune. They think they can trick voters into believing they won’t take away our fundamental right to reproductive freedom. They’re wiping their campaign websites clean of their prior anti-abortion stances.
