Our community is made up of organizers and activists who believe that everybody should be free to control their own bodies and lives. Our movement is growing every day—we want you to be a part of it.
At Reproductive Freedom for All, our volunteers are more than just supporters—they are the heartbeat of this work. Every email sent, every phone call made, every conversation sparked in a community—that’s the work of people who believe in something bigger than themselves.
This month, we honor the incredible dedication of our volunteers and celebrate the ways they continue to fight for reproductive freedom, abortion access, and justice for all.
I joined the fight for reproductive freedom because no one should be able to impede our health care and no one should have the right to dictate how many or how few children you want to have, or when and how to start a family.

💥 The Power of Volunteers in the Reproductive Freedom Movement
Volunteers are essential to everything we do! Whether it’s organizing, attending rallies, helping to shape policy through advocacy, or simply having real, honest conversations with their neighbors—volunteers keep the reproductive freedom movement alive and thriving.
Their work spans far and wide: some provide direct support to those navigating abortion access, others educate their communities about their rights, while many amplify critical resources across social media. No matter the task, our volunteers play a vital role in spreading awareness and building momentum for change.
Volunteering means to me a new experience, and insight into the fight to provide reproductive health care for everybody. I personally have struggled with reproductive health and meeting people who have similar experiences to mine means less isolating feelings, and more friends to talk to.

💜 We Couldn’t Do This Without You
When we say “we couldn’t do this without you,” we mean it.
You’ve shown up for us—and for our communities—in powerful ways. You’ve shown up at town halls and knocked on doors. You’ve rallied and written postcards. You’ve made phone calls and helped people find care in moments of crisis.
Volunteers don’t just show up—they lead. They are educators, advocates, and fierce protectors of our fundamental freedoms. And through their efforts, they help shift public opinion, break stigma, and create real change on the ground.
I was just ten years old when Roe was decided so throughout my entire reproductive life, my reproductive health was not dictated by the government. I joined Reproductive Freedom for All right after the Dobbs leak because I wanted my daughters and all people to have the same freedoms and access to care that I had.

🥊 The Challenges Volunteers Help Overcome
Accessing reproductive health care is fraught with obstacles—from disinformation campaigns to criminalization and constant political attacks. But time and time again, volunteers meet these challenges head on.
They help us combat disinformation with facts. They ensure that no one feels alone in the face of unjust laws. They fuel the fight against apathy with bold action and community care. When setbacks occur, it’s our volunteers who remind us why we keep going—and how powerful we are when we work together.
Engaging celebrants at Oakland Pride last year was a blast! The diverse crowd was welcoming, lots of sign-ups on our clipboards as people were very concerned about the threat to reproductive rights across the country as well as being enthusiastic to support our work.

🌱 Volunteer Engagement and Growth
Our volunteers come from all walks of life, bringing with them a rich tapestry of experiences, skills, and perspectives. Some are longtime advocates; others are just beginning their journey. All are united by a shared commitment to justice.
As the movement evolves, so do our volunteers. They adapt, learn, and grow—taking on leadership roles, launching local campaigns, and mentoring others along the way. We’re building a sustainable movement, and volunteer leadership is at the center of that vision.
I volunteer with Reproductive Freedom for All because I want to show an accurate representation of someone who is affected by the legislature that is attempting to remove what should naturally be my right, which is to choose what I do with my own body. I am not a concept of a person needing reproductive services, nor am I a ‘what if’ scenario. I am real, my story is real, and I know that there are so many people with stories like mine that need to be represented.

🎉 Showing Our Appreciation: How We Celebrate Volunteers
This month, and every month, we honor our volunteers with heartfelt gratitude.
You deserve to be seen, valued, and uplifted—because your work is changing lives. You are not just part of this movement—you are the movement.
Volunteering with Reproductive Freedom for All has been a powerful extension of the same commitment that led me to pursue my Master of Public Health: the fight for reproductive justice. I felt the impact of that work firsthand while post carding for the recent Wisconsin Supreme Court election in support of Susan Crawford—knowing our efforts perhaps played a part in that victory, was incredibly motivating. At Reproductive Freedom for All, I know that when we fight, we win.

📢 How You Can Continue to Make an Impact
To our current volunteers: thank you for all you’ve done—and all you will continue to do. Your time, voice, and energy make a lasting impact. We encourage you to stay engaged, deepen your involvement, and inspire others to join.
To every volunteer who has marched beside us, fought back in moments of injustice, and offered time, heart, and hope—we see you, and we are endlessly grateful. 💜Reproductive Freedom for All is what it is because of you.
Because when we lift each other up, we build a movement that’s impossible to silence. Together, we will keep pushing forward—until reproductive freedom is for everybody.
