Political Interference in Family Decisions

Motion to waive certain Senate rules that would advance the Sasse (R-NE) amendment to provide non-binding budget reconciliation instructions to interfere with the medical practice of abortion care under the threat of severe penalties. Three-fifths of the Senate (60 votes) is required to advance an amendment using this procedural maneuver.

This measure negatively impacts reproductive freedom.
