Reproductive Freedom for All Celebrates Retention of Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justices
Washington, DC — Today, voters approved Reproductive Freedom for All-endorsed Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justices Christine Donohue, Kevin Dougherty, and David Wecht for retention on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. This victory ensures that Pennsylvanians will continue to have fair-minded, impartial judges who will uphold their most fundamental rights—including abortion access.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Tonight, Pennsylvanians made it clear, once again, that when abortion is on the ballot, they will always turn out to protect their fundamental rights. Congratulations to Justices Donohue, Dougherty, and Wecht on their well-deserved victories that safeguard the Supreme Court’s reproductive freedom majority. We were proud to partner with Planned Parenthood Pennsylvania to get out the vote for these judges, launch ads in Pennsylvania to let voters know the stakes of this election, and mobilize our 185,000 members in the commonwealth to connect with voters through calls, texts, and door knocking.”Â
