Reproductive Freedom for All Endorses Adelita Grijalva in AZ-07 Special Election
Washington, DC — Today, Reproductive Freedom for All announced its endorsement of Adelita Grijalva in Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District special election. Grijalva has been a champion for reproductive freedom, including using her role on the Pima County Board of Supervisors to ensure access to reproductive care for Arizonans following the overturning of Roe v. Wade and leading efforts to rebuke the Arizona Supreme Court after they upheld the 1864 abortion ban. Grijalva is the daughter of the late Congressman Raúl Grijalva and will continue his legacy of fighting for Arizonans. If elected, Grijalva would be the first Latina to represent Arizona in Congress.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Reproductive Freedom for All is proud to endorse Adelita Grijalva in Arizona’s 7th congressional district. She is a fierce reproductive freedom champion who we know will work tirelessly for Arizona families and stand against anti-abortion Republicans who care more about pandering to Donald Trump than fighting for our fundamental freedoms. Threats to reproductive health care are looming large, and we need Adelita in the U.S. House now more than ever.”
Adelita Grijalva, Candidate in Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District special election, released the following statement:
“I’m honored to have the endorsement of Reproductive Freedom For All. With reproductive rights under relentless attack, we need bold, unwavering leadership that fights to protect and restore our fundamental freedoms. I’m proud to stand with an organization that has been on the frontlines of this struggle, and I’m ready to work alongside them to ensure that every person — no matter who they are or where they live — has the power to make their own decisions about their body and their future.”
Earlier this month, Reproductive Freedom for All launched its first slate of endorsements in the 2026 cycle, backing frontline candidates who will be vital to protecting and retaining a strong presence of reproductive freedom champions in Congress.
