Reproductive Freedom for All Launches Over $400K Ad Program in Arizona Slamming Jay Feely’s Anti-Abortion Record
Washington, DC — Reproductive Freedom for All has launched a six-figure digital and mail ad program in Arizona’s first congressional district highlighting Jay Feely’s anti-abortion positions that are out of step with voters.
This district is among the country’s most competitive congressional districts and will decide the path to a reproductive freedom majority in Congress. The ads will run through Election Day, and the total spend across mail and digital is over $400k. This is on top of the six-figure paid canvass program in AZ-01 that Reproductive Freedom for All announced last month.
Reproductive Freedom for All President and CEO Mini Timmaraju released the following statement:
“Jay Feely’s anti-abortion extremism is out of step with the voters he wants to represent—he’d know that if he actually lived or worked in the district. Dr. Amish Shah is the only candidate in this race who will support reproductive freedom and put the will of Arizonans first.”
Reproductive Freedom for All Director of Arizona Campaigns Athena Salman released the following statement:
“Arizona voters have made clear that they want leaders who will defend their freedoms and the rights enshrined in Proposition 139. We will keep mobilizing our more than 100,000 members in Arizona to reject Jay Feely’s extreme agenda and send Dr. Amish Shah to Congress this November.”
Reproductive Freedom for All has endorsed Dr. Amish Shah for AZ-01. Dr. Shah worked to repeal Arizona’s abortion ban, co-sponsored the Right to Contraception Act, and personally collected hundreds of signatures to help pass Prop 139, which enshrined abortion access in the state constitution. By contrast, Jay Feely has a lengthy anti-abortion record— including repeatedly supporting defunding Planned Parenthood and affirming his loyalty to Trump and his dangerous agenda.
