Arizona Reproductive Freedom Win: Voters elect Adelita Grijalva to Congress!
Grijalva will be the first Latina to represent Arizona in Congress.
Huge win for reproductive freedom in Arizona—Adelita Grivalva, endorsed by Reproductive Freedom for All, has won the special election for Arizona’s Seventh Congressional District. Now she’s headed to Congress and will be the first Latina to represent Arizona there.
Grijalva has been a champion for reproductive freedom, including using her role on the Pima County Board of Supervisors to ensure access to reproductive care for Arizonans following the overturning of Roe v. Wade and leading efforts to rebuke the Arizona Supreme Court after they upheld the 1864 abortion ban. Grijalva is the daughter of the late Congressman Raúl Grijalva and will continue his legacy of fighting for Arizonans.

Our Reproductive Freedom for All Arizona volunteers worked tirelessly to mobilize voters to secure this victory. We showed up for a reproductive freedom champion—knocking doors, making phone calls and sending texts to get out the vote.
Elections like these are critical to ensuring we have a federal government that represents the will of the people—and not a minority that wants to further restrict our rights.
