Right to IVF, Motion to End Debate
Motion to invoke cloture (end debate) on the motion to proceed to the Right to IVF Act upon reconsideration, a bill to establish a statutory right for an individual to access, a provider to provide, and an insurer to cover assisted reproductive technologies, and to expand access to and coverage of such care.
Three-fifths of the Senate (60 votes) is required to invoke cloture. Cloture motion failed. A vote for reproductive freedom was in support of cloture.
This measure positively impacts reproductive freedom.
