2025 Highlights for Reproductive Freedom: Attacks Met With Action
The attacks on reproductive freedom persist—but so do we.
⚡TL; DR (too long, didn’t read)
In 2025 Trump and his circus of extremist allies attacked our fundamental rights in historic fashion, including relentless attacks on abortion, health care, and bodily autonomy.
But the year was also defined by something just as powerful: people showing up— protesting in the streets, organizing in their communities, and voting in record numbers for our freedom and future.
At Reproductive Freedom for All, we made sure no attack went unanswered. The work ahead remains urgent, but we’re heading into 2026 with momentum—and we want you with us.
📣 Accountability Wins: They Gutted Our Health Care, We Won’t Forget
After Republicans voted to rip health care away from millions, our community turned out in droves during August Recess to demand accountability.
Reproductive Freedom for All hosted 88 events nationwide and in key chapter states, drove nearly 7,000 calls and more than 60,000 texts urging members to contact their representatives who backed the bill, and registered 8,000 new supporters throughout the month.
We also ran ads shaming Republican lawmakers for gutting our health care: U.S. House Republicans—Reps. Juan Ciscomani (AZ-06), Jen Kiggans (VA-02), Gabe Evans (CO-08), and Mike Lawler (NY-17).

They’re not done attacking reproductive freedom. And we’re not done stopping them.
As we gear up for the 2026 midterms, we’re focused on winning back power and slowing the Trump administration’s relentless attacks. Here’s what we’re watching—and building toward next:
- Electing reproductive freedom champions up and down the ballot
- Supporting Nevada’s Question 6 ballot measure to protect abortion access, and other initiatives
- Continuing to hold elected officials accountable—everywhere, every time
